Terms and Conditions for Online Orders

You agree that you are the end user of the background check report, that the report will not be resold or shared with another party, that you are requesting a background check for a legitimate business purpose, that you will comply with all requirements under The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) including obtaining a signed release from the applicant prior to requesting a background check, and that you have received the document “Notice to Users of Consumer Reports” available below.

Below is an FCRA Overview and the document “Notice to Users of Consumer Reports”. Please read and become familiar with these documents. Also available below is an Applicant Release Form. You must have a signed release form prior to requesting a background check. We don’t need to see a copy of this signed release form but we ask that you keep it on file in case we ever need to see it.

Finally, the “Summary of Your Rights” document, available below, is to be utilized whenever you don’t hire the applicant because of something contained in the background check report. It must be provided to the applicant along with a copy of the report when you send the applicant the pre-adverse action letter. An explanation of these requirements are included in the FCRA Overview document below.
